HabitFlow ("the app") is a habit-tracking app. This page explains what we store and why.
Your name and email, used to sign you in and recover your account. Guest sessions collect no account information at all.
Habit names, schedules and completion dates, stored on your device and, if you have an account, in your private cloud record — never shared or sold.
We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in. Depending on how you sign in, we receive your name and email (email/password) or your Google account's name, email and profile photo (Google Sign-In). Guest sessions use an anonymous, device-scoped identifier with no personal information attached.
Signed-in users' habits and completion history are stored in Cloud Firestore, a Google Cloud database, access-controlled so only your account can read or write your own data.
The app keeps a local offline copy of your habits and completions so it works without a network connection, and syncs automatically once you're back online. A small number of on-device-only preferences (onboarding seen, theme) are never sent anywhere.
Habit reminders are scheduled entirely on your device and never routed through a push-notification server — we do not know when or whether a reminder fired.
This build does not include a dedicated analytics SDK. If one is added in the future, this section will be updated before it ships, and it would be limited to aggregate, non-identifying product usage.
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and Google Play Billing for Pro purchases. Each is governed by its own privacy policy in addition to this one. This app does not show ads.
HabitFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Settings → Profile → Delete Account permanently deletes your habits, completion history and account from our systems. This cannot be undone. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy. Don't have the app installed anymore? Use our web account deletion form instead — we'll delete your account and data within 30 days of your request.
